been windy the last few days, but the sheephead are still bitting if you can get to them, maybe this wknd. but they won,t be here for long, other bait is starting to show-up, croackers, finger mullet,, and know we have seen the pogeys, or menhaden this means the bite is going to change to spanish, reds, kings, cobia,ajs, etc. as the water warms so will the bite, enjoy. tight lines everybody,, capt. rob
springtime fishing,
spring has finally arrived, the fun times and fishing should be good from this wknd. on I know that capt. scott hasbeen pulling in the sheep head from the south bay rigs along with the rigs off dauphin isl. also spadefish and pompano along with some redfish, the trout are just starting to come in to the lagoon and the bay, live shrimp being the bait of choice, cut bait and live sandfleas on the beach will produce redfish and pompano bites there, i,ll be going offshore this wknd. and i will give you an update to what is happening out there, tightlines to all. capt. rob
